This cactus we discovered just a half mile from our house. It starts out as a 4 or 5 inch tight red bud. The first ones we saw on Saturday afternoon. Sunday early afternoon they had not changed much then at 6:pm they were starting to open. By Monday morning they were full beautiful white blooms and by Monday evening they were starting to wither. By tomorrow they will turn dark and fall to the ground, much like a hand full of feathers. Isn't nature wonderful?
That's beautiful. Great pictures! When we lived in Flaming Gorge there was a huge cactus growing in some rocks that had beautiful blooms every year. It's so fun to find something like that.
I love technology and the changes we have to keep making. Music is a very big part of my life, photography is a time consuming hobby, also watching tennis, and I love traveling, especially with my family.
I have a awesome husband that supports me in everything I do. I also have 3 beautiful and talented daughters, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We own a apartment complex and manage them ourselves, so we work harder than anyone can imagine, but that is what keeps us going.
My traveling friends that I have so much fun with. San Francisco is our favorite place to go.
OTHG
My Highschool friends, we still meet together for New Years Eve, and sometimes during the year. I feel a real connection to each of them and am so grateful that I am a part of the OTHG.
LONI & ALLEN
Seattle with Allen & Loni 8-2008. What a fun trip we had. We have not know each other only a few years, but I feel more connected to them than my own family.

It's so nice that you found it before it bloomed :)
