HAPPY 53 TO US

Here are a few pictures that are in no particular sequence. However they are reminders of some of the best and worst times in our life. Mostly for the best. The flowers have a certain meaning and Garn gives them to me like this every anniversary. The 3 pinks are for the 3 darling daughters that we have. The 2 whites are for the sad times when we lost both of our boys. The red is for our long and sustaining love. In the pictures you will see friends, old and new that are so important in our lives, even tho some of them we rarely see. Anyway, HAPPY 53rd ANNIVERSARY TO GARN & DOROTHY.

Garns new toy

Garn is so excited about his new toy. Was quite a decision he had to make. He really had his eye on a very nice Honda GoldWing Motorcycle, and even made a offer on it, which at first they accepted, then they changed their mind and wanted more money. SOOO to bad for them cause by then he had found this tractor and decided it would be easier than using a shovel and wheel borrow, to haul dirt from one place to another.

Old babies, and new babies at the Huntington Farm

The baby lambs were born yesterday. If they had waited one more day we would of called them HEARTS, & FLOWERS, for Valentine's day.
My, how the baby has grown. She looks forward to Garn feeding her each day, and is so tame she followes him around like a puppy dog.

MY GARAGE

For over 2 months we have been working on my garage. First I had to clean it out and pack everything up to the storage unites in our back yard. First 2 pictures show what it looked like before I cleaned it out. Next we had dry wall put up, then we started painting. Pictures 3 & 4 is Garn putting over 3 coats of paint on the walls. The brick was especially hard to cover. For the floor, we chose Race Deck. Pictures 5 & 6 show Barbara & Del with Andee, Ciera & Bridger working on the floor. In no time they had it all done. Picture 7 shows the cabinets we got from Lowe's. Very big job for Garn to put them all together. Then we had to start on the cabinets for the car side of the Garage, which we also got from Lowe's. Again we were in luck as Jessie and Rob were spending the weekend with us so we put them to work. Picture 8 shows them working and in 4 hours they had all 6 cabinets put together, picture 9. Last picture is both sides of the garage. I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THE FINISHED PRODUCT.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLEN

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLEN: Seems that the last ?? years have passes so fast I can't believe it. First you were such a happy, beautiful, active, mischievous, wonderful daughter. Never afraid of anything. As you can see with the snake. Then you met Bud and you were soooooo young, but the life of a cowboys wife seems to have been just what you wanted, and needed. Remember when your dad walked you down the isle? Look at that awesome outfit, and all that hair. (on your dad). Then came the children, more rodeos, horses, pigs, goats, lambs and chickens. Now its the Grandchildren, and now look at that family. WE ARE SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU.

Well another Christmas is over, and what a blast it was. We went to SLC, and had the usual Christmas Eve Talent Show. The highlight was being able to Web Cam to & from Iowa to Ellen's & Bud's family, and to and from Idaho to Tina's & Blakes family, and to Seattle, to Becky and Nick.
Happy New Year to you all. We will be spending it with the OTHG, as we have for the past many years.
